Dog Adoption Database
In this project, my group and I built a MySQL database and website for a (hypothetical) animal shelter with dogs available for adoption. The website uses PHP to retrieve and display information about each dog. In addition to conventional searches by name, visitors can search for dogs by breed, sex, size, or a variety of personality traits. This project provides a template that can be used by animal shelters looking for a more robust, faceted data organization and searching capability. The database also contains dozens and dozens of adorable dog photos!
